Chewy White Chocolate Chip Ginger Snaps

I got this recipe while browsing through My Sisters Cafe. They looked so good so I decided to give them a shot and make them for my weekly dart night. I've never made ginger snaps before, but these turned out pretty good.

Chewy White Chocolate Chip Ginger Snaps

Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups shortening
2 eggs
1/2 cup molasses
4 cups flour
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 package white chocolate chips

Combine the sugar, shortening, eggs and molasses until well mixed. Add the remaining ingredients. Roll into balls and then roll into sugar.
Bake at 350 for 11-13 minutes

  2. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. In all honesty, this is the first ginger snap cookie I've ever made. I thought they were good, but have nothing to compare to to say if they are the best. :) I prefer chewy cookies to crunchy cookies, and these were perfect.
